F.A.S.A was established after the tragic loss of our Son, Brother, and Friend Chris. During Chris’s battle we learned that addiction is a life threatening disease that reconditions the brain to uncontrollably need a substance despite adverse consequences. Losing Chris to addiction was the worst thing that could ever happen to our family. We hope to raise a light in the darkness of addiction to give victims and their families hope. Almost two years after our loss, our family and friends started F.A.S.A. a non‐profit organization. We believe that the stigma of addiction is responsible for the lack of effective treatment. Our goal is to end the stigma.
